Christian Horner who was born in 1973 is an ex-professional who became a Motorsport Executive. As head of the Red Bull F1 team he has masterminded no less than thirteen world titles, including seven World Drivers’ Championships and six World Constructors’ Championships. Like many other F1 drivers Horner started his career in karting, moving on to Formula three, and Formula 2 before moving to Formula 3000 in 1997.
Horner began his management career at 25 when he signed up Viktor Maslov and Marc Goossens for the FIA F3000 season. In 2004 the energy drink company Red Bull bought the Jaguar F1 Team, which became Red Bull Racing. Horner was appointed Team Principal the following year, a team he has been at the helm ever since.
